This webinar covers a working knowledge of the PSI rules, including an understanding of the more common pitfalls which are important for professionals from both large and small firm backgrounds.
We will also introduce the Personal Services Income (PSI) regime, covering Personal Service Entities (PSE’s) and the alienation of PSI. It provides practical examples of the Personal Services Business (PSB) tests, as well as dealing with PSI and agents.
The practical side to personal services business determinations is also dealt with and the webinar covers the interaction of the PSI rules with the general anti-avoidance provisions. It also highlights the way in which common errors can be avoided in practice in the context of the PSB tests.
Numerous examples have been worked throughout the presentation to ‘bring to life’ the technical aspects of the PSI rules.
