This is the first in a series of 4 webinars which will explore the various elements required to become an effective business partner.
A business partner provides more than just required services and / or fixes problems when they arise. Business Partnering is about developing a trust-based relationship with your business leader that allows for interactions focused on still supporting the business but also growing the business.
In this session, Gavin Freeman will outline different components of the Business Partnering Capability Model and lay the groundwork for you to enhance your relationship with your business lead.
We explain why effective business partnering requires that you:
• develop a deeper understanding of your skill set and
• apply the right mindset in bringing those skills to bear
• understand the agenda
• know the decision-making process of your business lead
