Leading When You Don't Have All the Answers

Overview
Creating the conditions for resilience, empathy and adaption
Today’s team leaders are navigating increasing uncertainty, complexity and change, often without clear answers or predictable outcomes. Traditional leadership approaches that rely on certainty and quick solutions are no longer enough.
Drawing on the principles of adaptive leadership, emotional intelligence and mindfulness, this practical webinar explores how leaders can create the conditions for people to adapt, grow and thrive through change. Participants will learn how to stay steady under pressure, work with the inevitable losses that accompany change, and lead with empathy, curiosity and confidence when the path ahead isn’t yet clear.
Rather than focusing on managing change, this session explores how to lead people through it by building resilience, psychological safety and trust while helping teams navigate uncertainty together.
Learning Outcomes:
Attendees will learn to:
- Distinguish between technical problems and adaptive challenges.
- Recognise and work with the losses that often sit beneath resistance to change.
- Lead with empathy while maintaining clarity and direction.
- Stay grounded and regulate themselves under pressure.
- Create the conditions for resilience, trust and psychological safety.
- Lead with confidence, even when they don’t have all the answers.
Participants will leave with practical tools they can immediately apply to help themselves and their teams navigate uncertainty with greater confidence, compassion and resilience
Suited to:
Professionals in professional services including partners, managers, and team leaders with responsibility for leading or developing others.
