Navigating Uncertainty

Overview
Mastering mental and emotional agility is key to navigating uncertainty and complexity effectively
Our lives and our working environments are becoming increasingly volatile, uncertain, complex and ambiguous (VUCA).
Living with so much uncertainty is hard. Uncertainty brings up fear, resistance, insecurity and reactivity.
Our brains perceive ambiguity as a threat and send us into flight or fight mode, disrupting our ability to access the higher cognitive functions needed to navigate change effectively.
Further, complexity throws spanner into the works of our need to follow the rules, predict outcomes and plan ahead.
