Single Touch Payroll and Payday Super

Overview
What you and your clients need to know about STP and Payday Super
Single Touch Payroll Phase 2 (STP2) brought added responsibilities and complexities for Accountants and Bookkeepers and our small business clients. STP2 data goes beyond the confines of the ATO and is being shared with other government agencies, directly impacting other benefits and allowances received by individual taxpayers. The introduction of Payday Super will also impact payroll data sent to be sent to the ATO from 1 July 2026. It’s vital that we, and our clients get the setup and processing of STP2 and Payday Super right.
All of the major software houses plan to have Payday Super functionality available in their solutions by 1 July this year, likely leading to an influx of enquiries from clients between now and then on how to setup, maintain and report via STP2. Before you or your clients make any changes to payroll systems to cater STP2 it is vital that you understand the components of STP2 and how they will impact your clients and their employees payroll reporting to the ATO. This is why we have designed this deep dive webinar to bring you up to speed on everything you need to know about STP2, including changes due to introduction of Payday Super.
