Supply Chain Risks - Knowing Your Software

Overview

When software talks to other software, and pulls dependencies from other libraries to facilitate development it can be magical, but can also quickly turn to disaster when we are not vetting all aspects of our supply chain.

In the excitement of ‘vibe coding’ and proliferation of software solutions the possibilities can seem endless. Sadly so can the risks, and we will use this session to:

  •  Highlight some of the most recent supply chain risks (and what it meant for users)
  •  What you can do to become more aware in this space (without needing to become a coder)

Learning Outcomes:

Awareness of current software climate and the risks that need to be navigated before introducing any software solution.

Suited to:

Anyone eager in understanding cybersecurity.
