Handle the winding-up of entities with confidence.

The tax issues associated with winding-up companies and vesting trusts are varied and can be complex.

This webinar covers the tax impact of winding-up companies and highlights the taxing points for companies (upon the realisation of assets under a liquidation), as well as the income tax and capital gains tax (CGT) consequences for shareholders (upon receipt of a liquidator’s distribution and/or cancelation of the company’s shares).  The goods and services tax (GST) and duty consequences are also covered.

The webinar also deals with the practical issues associated with the vesting of discretionary and fixed trusts, along with the related income tax and CGT impact of winding-up these entities.  Duty and GST are also covered.  Meaningful worked examples are provided to reinforce the technical detail.
