In 2016, the ACCA (Association of Chartered Certified Accountants) published a long awaited report that identified seven professional competencies which accountants should possess in order to be effective in a rapidly changing professional environment.
This webinar identifies each competency and focuses on how accounting firms can go about assessing each competency in their accounting candidates.
The webinar is suited for any firms looking to recruit accountants, whether they have established HR functions or recruitment run by Practice Managers, the emphasis is on bringing practical solutions that can be implemented today to the challenges of selecting the candidate most likely to flourish in your firm, as well as identifying training and development priorities to get them up to speed swiftly
Given the broad base of subjects covered, which range from personality profiling and psychometric testing, through to skills assessments and competency based interviews, the format will be more an overview than detailed examination, although we intend to provide pointers and post-webinar support to any members who wish to explore detail beyond what is covered in the webinar & Q&A session.
