Discover how to convert spreadsheets into SharePoint lists and automate approvals with Power Automate. See how Teams brings it all together by embedding SharePoint content, forms, and lists for a seamless digital workspace.

Topic 1. Overview of SharePoint, Teams and OneDrive

  • When should I use SharePoint vs OneDrive?
  • How does Teams work with SharePoint, OneDrive and Outlook?
  • If I share a document in Teams, where is that document saved?
  • Should I send meetings from my Outlook or Teams calendar?

Topic 2. Create SharePoint tools – Demo

  • Create a SharePoint library to store financial reports, audit documents etc securely.
  • Track changes within the documents using version history
  • Create reusable Excel templates for expense claims.
  • Create a 365 Form for leave requests.
  • Convert an Excel spreadsheet to a SharePoint list
  • Use Power Automate to route forms for approval (preview only)

Topic 3. Access your tools in Teams – Demo

  • Add your SharePoint libraries, forms, and lists to a Team channel
  • Use Teams to access your OneDrive documents, meetings and task lists.
